Honeycraves: HONEYBLOODS #3 Author I.S. Belle
Book Review
5 out of 5 stars!
First and foremost, this series goes in order and ends on cliffhangers! This is the final installment of HONEYBLOODS! Spoilers ahead if you haven't read the first two books!

". . .looking at Honey always brought her back to herself." - Sadie
One more road trip. Just one more road trip needed to catch Honey's sire and end the vampirism! But what does this mean for Sadie? Since Honey was the one who changed her.
The HUNGER has not calmed down like it did for Honey! Sadie's trying not to just eat her entire senior class, even if some individuals would deserve it. Honey has future plans, and Sadie fears she may not be able to stand next to her girlfriend. The two will have to make some compromises and have serious talks. All while trying to have a fun spring-break-murder-road-trip, find Honey's sire and end him, and deal with an unwanted tag along!
"“This is the most important week of your lives, and you want to go see gay magnets,” Alexander said slowly."
Sometimes you put off reading and reviewing because you just don't want a series to end. This is that series! I love my girls and how the author took a couple looks at "Jennifer's Body" and was like hold my drink! Creating the gay ending we all wanted!
I admired the fact that Sadie and Honey are both vampires but with major differences! Sadie has that HUNGER that just isn't going away or easing up. Something Sadie says later in the book about how her hunger relates to other things in her life broke my heart and made a lot of sense. You worry about her throughout the book and if Sadie will have a good ending. Ugh, the emotions! The two struggling with future plans after HS graduation and if they will be together.
Honey is still my favorite Queen Bee FMC! Her humor and contagious energy are fantastic, and I love how the sourpuss MMC can't help but get dragged in. Honey showing just how big of a heart she has and the love she feels toward Sadie is so nice. Honey's lines made me laugh a lot:
“I gotta go. I have to rip out a deer’s throat and bleed it into a Hello Kitty thermos.” - Honey
The mixture of violence and romance all in one and it works for Honey. She's just trying to take care of her bloodthirsty bestie/lover!
This series is YA horror, and it deals with baby vampires who've had no mentors or guides. Stupid Google for not helping to provide all the tutorials on how to be a proper vamp! There's violence, gore, and a lot of blood. Feeding from humans and animals to maintain the hunger and helping to heal after some intense events. Language is present in the book along with feelings of overwhelming dread and that this will be it for a certain FMC. Check CWs.
YA genre so romance and intimate moments stayed within that bracket. The two are opposites of one another helping to balance each other. I enjoyed the banter between them and the development of their relationship. I laughed at a certain line beginning a chapter toward the end of the book, the line having been used frequently, with minor changes, throughout the series! Dual POVs showing just how the other felt about things. The final scene in the park was so good and I laughed hard at the dialogue exchanged between the two!
HEA for our girls! I will miss them, but I think they will be showing up in future series to come! Along with a couple other characters that were introduced in this final installment. Alexander being one I loved a lot and enjoyed watching his heavily guarded walls get broken down by sunshine Honey. I really hope to see him in a future series or maybe staring in his own! Either way I cannot wait for more!
Enjoy the murder road trip with ex-best-friends turned baby vamps! And don't forget to give the author some stars!
